When is Vale Hospital opening?
The Vale Hospital is now open. Consultants and patients now have full access to the facilities at The Vale Hospital including two operating theatres, consultation rooms, and overnight-stay facilities.

The Vale Hospital has 25 en-suite bedrooms, as well as boasting 2 digital operating theatres equipped for in-patient GA procedures.

The Vale Hospital. Hensol Castle Park, Hensol, Vale of Glamorgan, CF72 8JX.
The Vale Hospital is located in Hensol, Vale of Glamorgan. The site is very close to the Vale of Glamorgan Hotel and Spa resort, with the entrance located opposite Llaneyrch Vineyard in Hensol (on the site of the old Hensol Hospital).

All of Vale Healthcare's sites - including Vale Hospital, are open to all patients - including those with medical insurance and those who self-pay.

If I visit Vale Healthcare for a consultation, which site will I visit?
It will depend on the speciality/consultant you are coming to see. You will be informed at the time of booking which site you will be visiting, and given the choice if appropriate.
How much will it cost to be seen at The Vale Hospital?
Consultant appointments, as with appointments at the Cardiff Bay Clinic, will vary depending on the speciality and the consultant you may wish to see. They range from £40 for Physio through to £180 for some Orthopaedic consultations.
All our treatments and procedures are costed dependent on the complexity of the surgery or treatment. Vale Healthcare prides itself on being extremely competitive in the marketplace in terms of cost.
