Vale Hospital is due to open in June 2010. From this date, consultants and patients will have full access to the facilities at Vale Hospital including two operating theatres, consultation rooms, and overnight-stay facilities.

The Vale Hospital will have 25 en-suite bedrooms, as well as boasting 2 digital operating theatres equipped for in-patient GA procedures.

Vale Hospital is located in Hensol, Vale of Glamorgan. The site is very close to the Vale of Glamorgan Hotel and Spa resort, with the entrance located opposite Llaneyrch Vineyard in Hensol (on the site of the old Hensol Hospital).

It will depend on the speciality/consultant you are coming to see. You will be informed at the time of booking which site you will be visiting, and given the choice if appropriate.

Consultant appointments, as with appointments at the Cardiff Bay Clinic, will vary depending on the speciality and the consultant you may wish to see. They range from £40 for Physio through to £180 for some Orthopaedic consultations.
